ACADEMIC CREDITS
EARN CREDITS WORTH OF SPANISH IN COSTA RICA
Students who wish to receive academic credit
at the INSTITUTO DE ESPAÑOL "COSTA RICA" receive
a transcript of the number of class hours completed, subjects
covered in class and the teacher's evaluation of performance.
They can present this Certificate to their college or university
for credit.
Generally, one semester unit of credit is granted
for each 15-20 hours of class time. Thus, a 4 week program of 4
hours of class daily would generate 4-5 semester credits.
The administrator of the student's school must agree to his or her
participation in the program. Students need to make all arrangements
directly through their university prior to beginning the program
in Costa Rica.
